I

I was lucky to capture this image of The Crooked Billet Pub on Wimbledon Common as there’s usually many parked cars along the street directly outside it. However, as it had snowed so heavily, cars couldn’t get down the narrow street and so I was left with a clear car-less snow scene. It was actually only about 4pm in the afternoon when I captured the image, just after some children had rolled a giant snow ball which is visible on right hand side of the photo.

It’s proved to be a very popular Photograph and hangs in many homes around the world. For a few years a large 60 inch framed print used to hang inside the pub but sadly is was removed by Youngs and replaced by a mirror and a chalkboard – no idea why, people absolutely loved looking at it.

Large, medium and small prints of this snow scene picture can be purchased from my online gallery at: test.landscapesbypatricksteel.co.uk
