My father was a renowned Fleet Street Photographer (he's now in retirement) and because of his career I grew up surrounded by cameras. From as early as seven years of age I would be helping him print black and white images in his darkroom. Later on in life I studied Photography at College and became a Window Cleaner throughout this period to help finance myself. After a short stint of unpaid work experience I was offered a full time job at Holborn Studios (London's largest Photographic Studio). I stayed there for two years as a studio assistant and then assisted as a freelancer for a further eight years travelling extensively around the globe on assignments working with some of the world's leading Photographers. Then finally became a Photographer in my own right and have somehow managed to earn a living from my cameras ever since.
All print sizes are viewable by clicking on 'Sizes and Prices' beneath each image in the gallery. Only the sizes listed are available. 'Direct sale only' means that you will only be able to acquire these images directly from me or via my website. 40 inch prints are the standard size.
My Landscapes are all pre-mounted on acid-free foamboard, window mounted using acid-free spanish white board, titled and signed in pencil and wrapped in a protective sleeve of polypropylene acetate film ready for framing. This not only allows you time to decide on the frame and be able to hold up the mounted print in position but it also makes the prints ideal for gift-wrapping and means the recipient can choose their own style of frame at a later date. To view samples please click on the 'Mounted and Framed samples' thumbnail below. Should you wish, personnel messages can be hand written in pencil along the base of the mount.
My Landscapes are 'not' framed. Each individual has personnel preferences and so I have decided to leave this to the professional framers who have extensive stocks and knowledge. My recommended framers are: Sarah @ Fisher De Domenici, 10 Church Road, Wimbledon Village or Charles @ Gallery 128, 128 Kingston Road, Wimbledon. Depending on your choice of moulding and glass type expect to pay 'approximatley' £120.00 to frame a standard 40" mounted print.
I accept payment online from this site via Paypal (just be sure to state the delivery address and your contact details), Bank Transfer or Cheque. Currently, only one landscape can be purchased online at once. VAT currently N/A.
If you would like to give a landscape to somebody as a gift for whatever the reason be it a Birthday, Christmas, Engagement, Wedding or Leaving Present and your not sure which Landscape they would really like you can always purchase a gift voucher. Decide on how much you want to spend and either contact me directly or purchase your voucher online via paypal. The recipient can always add to the value of the voucher afterwards should they wish to choose a larger print. Gift vouchers start at £300. If you would like a personnel message hand written in pencil along the base of the mount and you are purchasing via Paypal please specify the exact message in the special requirements field.
For each landscape purchased online a percentage of the sale will be donated to a charity for the 'The Blind'.
