Lower Pen Pond at Sunset, Richmond Park.
The Swan glided by just when I needed it to, it was almost magical, a beautiful moment, nobody was there but me. I remember that I was wearing shorts at the time and my legs were being bitten by hundreds of tiny midges at the waters edge. So, although the scene was tranquil, I was in agony and drawing blood – but it was worth it.
